Palak Tambuli



Ingredients :

  • Palak - tender ones - 1 fistful
  • Grated coconut - 4 to 5 tbsp
  • Green chillies 2 to 3
  • Fresh thick curds - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste.
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Jeera 1/2 tsp.
For seasoning :
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Broken red chillies -1
  • Split black gram 1/4 tsp.
Method :
  • In tsp of ghee just splutter jeera, once it splutters add chopped palak n fry it till it shrinks.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Now grind fried items along with grated coconut, green chillies n curds into smooth paste.
  • Adjust the consistency you prefer.
  • Add salt n season it with seasoning items.
Relish with hot rice n papad !!!

Fruits Custard


Ingredients :
  • custard powder ( Vanilla flavor) - 2 tbsp
  • Warm milk -3 tbsp for mixing custard powder
  • Milk 2 1/2 cups
  • Sugar 1/4 cup or more if you prefer more sweetness.
  • Mixed fruits . 
Method :
  • Chop fruits of your choice into medium sized pieces.
  • Mix custard powder into 3 tbsp of warm milk and make a smooth paste without any lumps.
  • Boil milk & add sugar to it.
  • Add custard paste to the milk & keep stirring until it becomes thick.
  • Refrigerate it when it comes to room temperature.
  • Before serving add fruits in a bowl & pour custard over it. 

Custard is ready to relish!!! enjoy it chilled :)

Potato Capsicum Sukkhe



Ingredients :

  • Capsicum -2
  • Potatoes -1
  • Salt to taste
  • Jaggery 1/2 tsp ( Optional )
For Masala :
  • Grated coconut 3/4 cup
  •  Red chillies 6 to 7
  • Coriander seeds- 1/2 tbsp 
  • Urdal -1 tsp
  • Tamarind - Gooseberry size.
For Seasoning :
  • Oil 2 to 3 tsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - few. 
Method :
  • Cut capsicum & potatoes into big chunks, keep aside.
  • In a little oil fry red chillies, coriander seeds & urdal.
  • Make a coarse masala by grinding grated coconut, tamarind n roasted items without adding water.
  • In a kadai heat oil add seasoning items, now add capsicum & potatoes, add salt, jaggery n 1/4 cup water n allow it to cook.( Dont over cook the vegetables )
  • Now add ground masala, mix it well &allow it cook for few minutes.
Sukkhe is ready!!! Enjoy with roti, dosa or as a side dish to rice :)
