Simple, Lip smacking yummy gojju, which goes really well with hot rice & dal :) Here is the recipe.
Ingredients :
- Potatoes - 2 big or 3 small
- Tomatoes -2 large
- Green chillies 2-3
- Salt
- Asafoetida - generous amount
For seasoning :
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Urdal 1/2 tsp
- Broken red chillies 2.
Method :
- Pressure cook potatoes & tomatoes for 2 whistles ( Reserve boiled water )
- Smash it well with smasher.
- Crush green chillies in pestle & morter
- Add chilies to smashed item, add little water to get gojju consistency.
- Add salt, asafoetida mix well
- Season it with seasoning item.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
